Ernesto Lopez

Ernesto Lopez, MBA, BSN, RN, FACHE has a diverse and extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Ernesto currently holds the position of President at both the Colorado Visiting Nurse Association and The Denver Hospice. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Executive Officer at Hospice of Washington County. Ernesto also has experience in healthcare consulting as a Principal Officer at Healthcare Consulting Associates, Inc. Ernesto has held leadership roles at AdventHealth, where they served as the Chief Executive Officer of Hospice and the Chief Operating Officer of the Kissimmee Campus at AdventHealth Central Florida. Ernesto also worked as the Chief Nursing Officer at the Apopka Campus of AdventHealth Central Florida. Earlier in their career, Ernesto served as the Administrative Director of Inpatient Services at Tenet Healthcare: Coral Gables Hospital and as a Nurse Manager at Baptist Health South Florida (Doctors Hospital).

Ernesto Lopez, MBA, BSN, RN, FACHE has a diverse education history. In 2023-2025, they attended the Harvard Business Analytics Program. Prior to that, they obtained an MBA in Business from Nova Southeastern University in 2006-2009. Ernesto also holds a BSN in Nursing from the University of Miami (1997-1999), an AS in Nursing from Southern Adventist University (1995-1997), and an AA in Business from Miami Dade College (1993-1995). Additionally, Ernesto Lopez has obtained the prestigious certification of Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives from the American College of Healthcare Executives in 2022.
