Laura Shope

Laura J Shope is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education, wellness, and real estate. Currently serving as the College and Post-Secondary Guidance Counselor at Denver Waldorf School Association since August 2021, Laura previously held positions such as High School Coordinator at Rudolf Steiner School of Ann Arbor and Founder & Creative Director at BlueFire Institute. With a strong commitment to health and sustainability, Laura has also worked as a Director for Shaklee Independent Distributor, a REALTOR® and Certified EcoBroker® at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Snyder & Company, and a Project Coordinator for BetterBuildings for Michigan. Educational credentials include a Certified Waldorf High School Teacher designation from the Center for Anthroposophy, an MFA in Sculpture from Cranbrook Academy of Art, and a BA in Fine Art from Kalamazoo College.
