Laurie Thompson

Laurie Thompson is currently the Finance Director at The Denver Waldorf School. Laurie has previous experience working as a business manager and financial analyst. In their current position, they are responsible for all budgeting and accounting functions, working in conjunction with the School Principal and reporting to the Board of Directors and to Denver Public Schools. Laurie maintains all employee payroll and benefit programs. Laurie supports human resource functions including the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Laurie writes grants and completes financial grant reporting for federal and foundation grants.

Laurie Thompson received a Master of Business Administration from the University of Denver's Daniels College of Business and a Bachelor's degree in Laurie'story from Antioch College.

Laurie Thompson reports to Kelly Church, School Director. Laurie Thompson works with Karee Justice-Bondy - Director of Enrollment Records, Christa Gustafson - Operations Director, and Karlena Alanso Lamm - Admissions Director. Some individuals on their team include Talon Poole - IT, Matt Woodhull - Finance Manager.
