Ashley Montgomery

Ashley Montgomery is an experienced executive currently serving as the Chief of Staff for the Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security since March 2023. Prior to this role, Montgomery held various positions at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, including Acting Deputy Chief of Staff for the National Risk Management Center and External Affairs Advisor, focusing on strategic execution and external communications. Earlier, Montgomery served as the Director of Public Affairs for Fairfax County Government, managing public information campaigns, and as a Public Affairs Specialist at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, coordinating outreach efforts in public health and emergency management. Montgomery holds a Master's Degree in Public Relations/Image Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
