Jennifer Sherfield (Westgate) is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervisor designation (LISW-S) and extensive experience in various roles related to social work and mental health. Currently serving as a Forensic Interview Specialist for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security since January 2020, Jennifer conducts forensic interviews with victims and witnesses of federal crimes. As a Contract Trainer for The Buckeye Ranch since June 2009, Jennifer trains foster parents on behavior management and mental health issues. Previous roles include Community Lecturer at The Ohio State University College of Social Work, a Forensic Interviewer at Nationwide Children's Hospital, and a Contract Clinician/Trainer at UMCH Family Services, among others. Jennifer holds a Master's degree in Social Work from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Gannon University.
