Anand Ayyagary

Anand Ayyagary has a variety of work experience in performance engineering and testing roles. Anand started their career as a Senior Performance Lead at Sovereign (Santander) Bank in 2008. After that, they worked as a Senior Performance Engineer at Pearson Education, where they executed load and duration/longevity tests and collaborated with developers to discuss the results. Anand then took on roles as a Senior Performance Engineer at Partners Healthcare and Siemens Healthcare, and as a Sr. Performance Engineer (Consultant) at Fresenius Medical Care. In 2010, Anand joined IBM as an Advisory Software Engineer, leading offshore and onshore teams in performance testing efforts. Anand also worked at Salesforce as a Lead Member of Technical Staff, focusing on scalability tests for the Commerce Cloud platform. Anand later joined Wayfair as a Senior Cloud Performance Engineer, responsible for developing a load testing infrastructure and implementing a self-service, hybrid performance engineering framework. Prior to their current role, they worked at Nuance Communications as a Principal Cloud Performance Engineer, where they built a performance testbed in the Azure cloud environment and utilized JMeter, Kubernetes, and Terraform. Anand currently holds the role of Principal Performance Test Engineer at The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC).

Anand Ayyagary has a Grad. Diploma in Information Technology from UNSW. Anand also holds an M.Tech. degree in Cryogenic Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Prior to that, they completed an M.Sc. in Physics from the University of Hyderabad and a B.Sc. with Honors in Physics from Osmania University.
