At The Detroit News since 1995, coverage has included business topics such as small and minority businesses, alongside crime reporting. Hunter is also an accomplished author, publishing true-crime books including “Limb from Limb” and “The Sadist, the Hitman and the Murder of Jane Bashara,” and has contributed to “Detroit Tigers Gone Wild: Mischief, Crimes and Hard Time.” Additionally, Hunter serves as a writer, producer, and narrator for the Sins of Detroit true crime podcast.
