Andre de Jager

Andre De Jager serves as the Global Technical Advisor and Director of Technical Expertise at SNV since August 2015, overseeing an annual budget of €140 million and a staff of 1,350 across 25 countries. Previously, Andre held roles as Country Director in Ghana and Regional Director for North and West Africa Division at the International Fertilizer Development Center, managing extensive project portfolios focused on value chain development and agro-input markets. Early in the career, Andre held various positions at LEI Wageningen UR, including Senior Economist and Head of Division, leading research on international trade and development. Andre's educational background includes a PhD in Economics of Natural Resources Management from Wageningen University & Research and a Master's degree in Horticulture and Economics.
