Charles Parsons

Director of Content at The Digital Foundry

Charles Parsons has worked in the media industry for over 15 years. In 2006, they began working as an Executive Producer for Ron Duff Video Productions, where they produced content for a live, public-access television program on a weekly basis. Charles also served as a camera operator, writer, video editor, and technical director on various projects including live broadcast and concert performances. In 2017, they joined Pixify Creative as a Video Editor, where they were responsible for editing and content creation for various clients. This included research, editing, sound design, and maintaining branding standards. In 2012, they began working as a Media Manager at Relentless, Inc., where they assessed, edited, and maintained digital assets for the company and clientele. Charles also helped create and enforce the protocols for company-wide digital asset management. In 2022, they began working as the Director of Content at The Digital Foundry, Inc., where they lead teams that produce creative digital assets, works with clients in building content and brand, and manages solutions for digital asset management. From concept to finished product, they work with the company's creatives to help ensure that their goals are culturally rich, relevant, and consumer-led.

Charles Parsons attended the Cape Girardeau Career and Technology Center, where they studied Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia. Charles then went on to attend Southeast Missouri State University, where they studied Mass Communication/Media Studies.
