David Bates

David Bates is a Non Stipendiary Minister, Assistant Curate, and Ordinand at The Diocese of Chelmsford since July 2009. Additionally, David serves as a Trust Chaplain at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust and previously worked as a Teacher at Gable Hall School, South Essex Methodist Circuit, The Sydney Russell School, and Barking Abbey School. David also held positions as a Children and Families Worker and KS3 ICT Coordinator. David holds a B.A. (Hons) in Contextual Theology from St Mellitus College and has degrees in Theology and Ministry, Education, and Civil Engineering from various institutions.
