Kofi Amankwah

Kofi Amankwah serves as Policy Director at the Directorate of Integration and Diversity (IMDi) since September 2015, and also holds the position of Assistant Regional Director for Region Vest since 2013. With extensive experience in crisis management and refugee resettlement as Deputy Regional Director at IMDi since 2006, Kofi previously worked as a Senior Advisor at the Directorate of Immigration (UDI) between 1993 and 2006, focusing on communication, policy development, and risk management for asylum seeker reception centers. Early career experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Bergen from 1988 to 1991. Kofi's educational background includes a Cand. Polit. degree from the University of Bergen, a Bachelor of Science from the University of Ghana, and completion of a leadership development program with Deloitte.
