Martin Bakken

Martin Bakken is a Senior Advisor at The Directorate of Integration and Diversity (IMDi) since November 2021. Previously, Martin held the position of Project Leader at TolkeNett AS, where responsibilities included managing the Translation business area. At Amway Europe, Martin served as Translation and Localization Project Manager overseeing processes for 28 European markets and as Marketing Team Leader for Scandinavia, leading a team focused on localizing marketing materials. Additional roles include Marketing and Communications Coordinator at Amway, Customer & Partner Service Support Agent at Microsoft, and Translator at Lingo ApS. Martin’s career began as a Communications Officer at the Faculty of Life Sciences, University of Copenhagen. Martin holds a Master of Arts in The Psychology of Language Use from the University of Copenhagen and a Bachelor in Communications and Language from Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
