Vilde Sofie Rodin is an experienced professional in the fields of immigration and human rights. Currently serving as a Senior Adviser at The Directorate of Integration and Diversity (IMDi) since April 2022, Vilde previously held the same title at The Norwegian Immigration Appeals Board (UNE) from September 2016 to April 2022. A National Expert for the European Union Agency for Asylum (EUAA) for a brief period in early 2020, Vilde contributed to an info provision deployment mission. Prior roles include Higher Executive Officer at UDI Utlendingsdirektoratet, Team Leader and Fundraiser for Médecins Sans Frontières, Treasurer for Leviathan Journal of Politics and International Relations, and various assistant and receptionist positions. The Directorate of Integration and Diversity (IMDi) was established on 1 January 2006 to act as a competence centre and a driving force for integration and diversity. The directorate cooperates with immigrant organisations/ groups, municipalities, government agencies and the private sector. It provides advice and implements government policy.
