Joyanne Molloy

JoyAnne Molloy is an undergraduate student at Stanford University pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Biology from 2021 to 2025. Currently, JoyAnne is a member of the Stanford Global Health Student Council and serves as the Deputy Chair on the Undergraduate Senate after previously holding the role of Communications Chair. JoyAnne is also a double bassist in the Stanford Symphony Orchestra and works as a College Advising Fellow with Matriculate, assisting low-income high school students with college applications. Additionally, JoyAnne podcasts for The Stanford Daily, hosting a series called "Health Around the World." Previous experiences include roles focused on diversity and inclusion at Novant Health, community service with the Young Black Leadership Alliance, and advocacy for voter registration with When We All Vote. JoyAnne has also been an ambassador for the Echo Foundation, engaging in discussions about conflict and community awareness.

The Stanford Daily

The Stanford Daily is the independent, student-run newspaper of Stanford University. The Daily was originally founded as a small pamphlet known as The Daily Palo Alto in 1892 and has been a campus fixture ever since. The Daily strives to serve the Stanford community with relevant, unbiased journalism and provides its editorial and business staffs with unparalleled educational opportunities. The Stanford Daily publishes Monday through Friday during the academic year and maintains a circulation of 8,000 to more than 500 locations on the Stanford campus and throughout the city of Palo Alto. The Daily publishes several special issues every year, including a New Student Orientation issue, a Big Game issue and a Commencement issue.
