Tom Quach has a diverse range of work experience. Tom is a Researcher at the Stanford Post-Acute Covid Syndrome (PACS) Clinic, where they examine the symptomatology of Long Covid and analyzes its relation to Myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS). In addition, Tom presents clinical case studies regarding novel alcohol intolerance in Long Covid patients and creates a database for PACS use. Tom is also the Editor-in-Chief of the Stanford Journal of Public Health and a team lead at Stanford Students in BioDesign (SSB). Tom serves as a Global Health Student Council Member at the Stanford Center for Innovation in Global Health and has a background in journalism, having held roles as Business Development Director and News Development Director at The Stanford Daily. Additionally, Tom has founded and directed the Day of Sacrifice Fundraising Project and served as the VC3 Team Manager for Stanford ASES.
Tom Quach received a High School Diploma from St. Ignatius College Preparatory in 2020. Tom then pursued a Dual B.S.- B.A. Degree in Computational Biology and Communication at Stanford University from 2020 to 2024. Continuing their education, Tom obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Community Health and Prevention Research from Stanford University in 2025. Tom also holds certifications in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS), Group 7: IRB BioMed/GCP Research, Group 2: IRB Nonmedical Research, and Social and Behavioral Responsible Conduct of Research. The Stanford Daily
The Stanford Daily is the independent, student-run newspaper of Stanford University. The Daily was originally founded as a small pamphlet known as The Daily Palo Alto in 1892 and has been a campus fixture ever since. The Daily strives to serve the Stanford community with relevant, unbiased journalism and provides its editorial and business staffs with unparalleled educational opportunities. The Stanford Daily publishes Monday through Friday during the academic year and maintains a circulation of 8,000 to more than 500 locations on the Stanford campus and throughout the city of Palo Alto. The Daily publishes several special issues every year, including a New Student Orientation issue, a Big Game issue and a Commencement issue.
