Alison Rutledge has extensive experience in retail and purchasing, currently serving as a Buyer and previously as an Assistant Buyer at The Distribution Point since May 2017. Their role includes managing daily operations of the Purchasing Department and fostering positive vendor relationships for effective product knowledge and demand forecasting. Prior to this, Alison held the position of Office Manager at State Farm from March 2016 to May 2017, and served in various leadership roles at Target from January 2012 to February 2016, where responsibilities included overseeing multiple departments, guest service, staff management, and compliance with safety regulations. Alison began their career at Belk as an Executive Team Leader for Guest Experience and a Free People Specialist. Alison holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Consumer Sciences/Human Sciences Communication from the University of North Alabama, earned in 2011.
