Jackie Ferguson, CDE®

Jackie Ferguson, CDE®, has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Starting in 2001, Ferguson worked as a Loan Officer at Citi, where they developed financial options and provided financial advice to customers. Jackie then moved on to ARAMARK in 2006, where they progressively advanced to the role of Marketing Manager and Executive Assistant. In this role, Ferguson managed corporate marketing and communications functions, overseeing a $10M profit and loss account and a 13-member team.

From 2011 to 2014, Ferguson worked as an Executive Assistant to the CEO at I-Cubed, where they provided high-level administrative support, managed projects, and assisted with consulting and public speaking engagements. Following that, they briefly served as an Executive Assistant at KPIT in 2014 before the company was acquired by I-Cubed.

In 2014, Ferguson joined Thompson Enterprises as the Director of Operations. In this position, they were responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business, including marketing strategy, finance, human resources, and external relationships. However, Ferguson left the company in 2017.

In 2018, Ferguson joined Walk West as the Executive Assistant to the CEO and later transitioned to the role of Director of Multicultural Programming. In this role, Ferguson led multicultural programming and transformational initiatives, developed a self-guided diversity and inclusion course, and ensured equity, inclusion, and belonging for the company's employees.

Most recently, Ferguson co-founded The Diversity Movement in 2019 and assumed the role of Co-founder and VP of Content & Programming. In this role, they lead a creative team and has built an award-winning content and marketing team that produces impactful content and influences the lives of clients and their communities.

Throughout their work experience, Ferguson has demonstrated expertise in diversity and inclusion, marketing, operations, project management, and executive support.

Jackie Ferguson, CDE®, holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Professional, Technical, Business, and Scientific Writing, which they obtained from the University of South Florida from 1992 to 1996. In addition to their degree, they also hold certifications from Tilt 365, including "Structure Tilt - Master Mind," obtained in May 2021, and from the Institute of Diversity Certification as a "Certified Diversity Executive," obtained in February 2019.
