Rupy then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management from Imperial College Business School between 2006 and 2007. Later, from 2018 to 2020, they obtained a degree in Nutritional Medicine from the University of Surrey, focusing on Nutrition Sciences.

'The Doctor’s Kitchen’ strives to inspire and educate everybody about the beauty of food and medicinal effects of eating well. Dr Rupy, is an NHS GP and Emergency Medicine doctor also completing a Masters in Nutritional Medicine. He creates healthy and delicious recipes using carefully selected ingredients, explaining the clinical research behind them and sharing across his media platforms Dr Rupy is a Sunday Times bestselling author, with two cookbooks published by Harper Collins - “The Doctor’s Kitchen” and "Eat to Beat Illness" , with a third book - Doctor's Kitchen 3-2-1 due for release in December 2020, and often appears on BBC and ITV. He is now also an accomplished TEDx speaker. In addition, he is the founding director of Culinary Medicine, a non-profit organisation which aims to teach doctors and medical students the foundations of nutrition, as well as teaching them how to cook.
