Thomas Gentle

Thomas Gentle has extensive work experience in various roles and leadership positions. Thomas is currently the Chief Executive Officer and a Board Member at Doughnut Peddler since April 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at the same company from January 2022 to March 2023. Before joining Doughnut Peddler, Thomas was the Chief Operating Officer at Nature's Bakery from April 2019 to January 2022. Thomas also held the role of Vice President - Supply Chain and Technical Operations at the same company from November 2017 to April 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Pharmavite as the Division Vice President - Quality and Supply Chain Transformation from July 2016 to October 2017. Thomas also served as the Director of Lean Enterprise from April 2013 to July 2016 and as the Manager - Supply Chain Profitability from March 2012 to March 2013 at the same company. Thomas began their career at ConAgra Foods, where they held various positions including Plant Manager from 2004 to 2007 and Process Engineer/Production Manager from 2002 to 2004. Thomas also worked at Nestle Purina as a Logistics/Production Coordinator from 2001 to 2002.

Thomas Gentle received their Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science and Business from the University of California, Davis, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. In 2000-2001, they also attended the Sacramento Entrepreneurship Academy to focus on Entrepreneurship. Following this, they pursued a Masters degree in Finance at The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School, which they completed from 2010 to 2012. Later, they obtained an Executive Certificate in Technology, Operations, and Value Chain Management in June 2015 from MIT Sloan Executive Education, demonstrating their continuous pursuit of professional development in the field of Operations and Supply Chain Strategy.
