Stephen Wertman

Stephen Wertman has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Stephen has held various financial leadership roles, such as Chief Financial Officer at The Dover Companies, Dover Capital, LLC, and MGM Healthcare. At MGM Healthcare, they successfully built back office infrastructure for key financial functions and supported rapid company expansion. Stephen also has experience in the banking industry, where they served as Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Heartland Bank, managing a multimillion-dollar portfolio. Stephen began their career at Arthur Andersen as a Senior Auditor, overseeing financial statement audits for large multinational clients. Stephen has a strong background in financial analysis, risk mitigation, compliance, and implementing financial systems and processes.

Stephen Wertman attended Queens College from 1996 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Information Systems. Stephen also holds a certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the New York State Education Department.
