Ada Cruz

Educator at The Drawing Center

Ada Cruz is a seasoned artist and educator with extensive experience in art instruction and outreach. As a freelance artist, Ada leads workshops and discussions using museum exhibitions and offers ongoing classes focused on clay and glazes. Since September 2007, Ada has served as an educator at The Drawing Center, leading tours and hands-on workshops related to current exhibitions. Additionally, Ada has worked as an art educator at Garrison Art Center since 2004, contributing to art education and outreach programs, including the Summer Arts on Hudson initiative and programs at Garrison Free School and Peekskill. Ada has been an educator at The Museum of Modern Art since January 1995 and served as an adjunct lecturer at Mercy College from 1992 to 2011. Ada holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Sculptural Clay from Cranbrook Academy of Art, earned between 1985 and 1987.
