Bella Goñi is the Policy Analyst for Green For All. Bella supports Green For All’s federal policy advocacy and Justice40 Campaign, working to ensure that federal climate investments go to the communities that need them most. She also works on Green For All’s state policy and Common Ground Campaign, advising on equitable and inclusive regenerative agriculture policy. She is passionate about motivating a just transition to a green economy through community-centered policy advocacy and advancing the economic inclusion of Black and Brown communities in the process. Bella graduated from UC Berkeley in 2020 with a degree in Environmental Sciences and Food Systems. She wrote her Honors Thesis on ensuring the representation of small regenerative agriculture producers in Federal conservation programs, and in the process developed a strong passion for working at the intersection of lived experience, analytical research, and policy advocacy. Prior to joining Dream.org, Bella worked for Change Food NY, focusing on food justice and sovereignty in urban areas. She has also worked with the Restaurant Opportunities Center United to plan strategic convenings bringing together policymakers and immigrant restaurant workers to improve wages and working conditions through state legislative campaigns. In her free time, Bella loves hiking and backpacking, expanding her botany and mycology knowledge, and finding funky underground music venues in the Bay.
