Cam Herwig Schmidts

Herwig Schmidts, CAM, has extensive aviation experience, currently serving as Captain at The Duchossois Group since November 2017 and as Director/Chief Pilot at Warbird Heritage Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on the restoration and demonstration of historic military aircraft. Schmidts, a founding member of the foundation, oversees assets valued at over $12 million. Previous roles include Pilot at ULINE INC from March 2015 to October 2017 and Senior Captain at WW Grainger, Inc from July 1996 to February 2015. Schmidts holds a Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical Studies/Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, earned between 1988 and 1991.
