Andrew Logie

Andrew Logie has an extensive work experience in the IT field. Andrew started their career as an Administrative Computer Support Manager at BBSRC in 1990 and worked there until 1999. Andrew then joined Portman Travel as an Information Manager from April 1999 to December 2004, before being promoted to Head of IT from January 2005 to March 2010. Andrew then worked as an IT Director at drivebusiness from July 2010 to April 2012. Andrew joined DrPete Inc as a Senior Consultant in May 2012 and worked there until July 2014. Finally, Andrew joined The Duke of Edinburgh's Award as an IT Director in August 2014 and continues to work there presently.

Andrew Logie earned a PGD CCI (Open) degree in Computing for Commerce and Industry from The Open University between 2000 and 2005. Prior to that, they obtained a Bsc (Hons Open) degree in Psychology from The Open University from 1994 to 1998. Andrew also holds an Advanced Diploma in Computer Studies from Heriot-Watt University from 1989 to 1990, and a Higher National Diploma in Computing from Fife College of Technology from 1987 to 1989. Before their higher education, Andrew completed Scottish 'O' and 'H' grades at Kirkland High School from 1980 to 1986. In terms of certifications, they obtained the certificate of membership from the British Computer Society in January 2024 and completed several LinkedIn courses, including "Delivering an Authentic Elevator Pitch," "Introduction to Artificial Intelligence," "Learning Microsoft 365 Copilot," and "What Is Generative AI?" in 2024.
