John Chan

John Chan is an experienced entrepreneur and owner of two successful companies in the construction and restoration industry. Since 1996, John has led The Durable Restoration Company, a national general contractor specializing in historic restoration, rehabilitation, and adaptive reuse projects, supported by a team of artisans skilled in over twenty traditional trades. Additionally, John has operated The Durable Slate Company since 1986, which focuses on slate, tile, and metal roofing and is recognized as one of the largest specialty roofing contractors in the United States. John holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business/Managerial Economics from UCLA, earned between September 1984 and June 1989.
