Vice President Of Engineering And Development at The Durham Company

Al Pruitt has a diverse and extensive work experience. Al started their career at The Durham Company in 1978 as a Draftsman/Designer and CNC Programmer and later became a Transfer Switch Assembly Lead. In 1983, they worked as a Product Engineer for The Durham Company until 1993. In 1994, they returned to The Durham Company as an Engineering Group Leader and then became an Engineering Manager for PMD Products from 2005 to 2019. Al's most recent role at The Durham Company was as the Vice President of Engineering and Development, which they held from December 2019. Additionally, Al also owned their own company, Sonco LLC, from 2000 to 2009.

Al Pruitt's education history includes several certificates and a degree in Drafting and Design. In 1976-1978, they attended LTCC and obtained a degree in Drafting and Design. In 1986, they earned a Certificate in ME10 2D Drafting and Design from Hewlett Packard Computer Systems. In 1992, they obtained a Certificate in Solid State Electronics from LTCC. In 1994, they received a Certificate in Amada HFB Press Brake Operation from US Amada. In 1998, they earned a Certificate in Bonding and Grounding Of Electrical Equipment from Toledo University, and also studied Business Management at Drury University from 1998 to 2001. In 2017, they received a Certificate in NFPA 70: National Electrical Code (NEC) (2017) from NFPA 2017 Training. In 2019, they completed USPTO CBT Modules and STEPP Training, although no degree or field of study is specified for this educational experience.
