Cecil B. Lucy, Esq., MBA, CPA, currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel at the DuSable Museum of African American History since July 2018. Previous roles include Interim Vice President, Administration & Finance/CFO and Interim President at Chicago State University from October 2015 to June 2017, and Vice President of Business Services/CFO at Tuskegee University from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, Cecil held the position of VP Finance & Legal/CFO at the National Black MBA Association between 2006 and 2011, and served as Chief Financial Officer at Ada S. McKinley Community Services, Inc. from 1996 to 2001. Early career experience includes significant roles at Sears, Roebuck and Co. as Senior Administrator and Senior Auditor, as well as Senior Auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Cecil holds a Juris Doctor, Master of Business Administration, and Bachelor of Science in Accounting, all from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
