Maeve Fishel

Maeve Fishel is a dedicated journalism student at American University, expected to graduate in May 2025. Currently, Fishel serves as a Fellow at National Security Leaders For America, advocating for election security and voting rights, and as a Social Issues Policy Writer Intern at Our National Conversation, focusing on crafting OpEds and policy proposals. Additional roles include Desk Receptionist and Resident Assistant at American University, where responsibilities involve maintaining campus security and fostering community among first-year residents. Fishel has experience as a News Reporter and Feature Section Editor for The American University Eagle, and has completed internships with the Convergence Center for Policy Resolution and Environment Virginia. Previous roles also include a food service position and a tour guide.
