Chief Innovation Officer at East Coast Migrant Head Start Project

Christine L. Alvarado, MBA, is part of the Executive Team as the Chief of Innovation reporting to the CEO at ECMHSP.

Christine is a passionate Migrant and Seasonal Head Start professional with thirty years of experience in Head Start and early education programs. She believes in the unlimited potential of migrant children and families, and the staff that works with them. She has extensive experience in program operations, leadership, program systems, and design to meet the unique needs of migrant and seasonal farm-worker children and families. Christine began her career working with young children while serving in the U.S. Peace Corps. She also serves in a variety of state and national leadership positions, including as a board member for the Wake County Partnership for Children and for the National Migrant and Seasonal Head Start Association.
