Sharon Rhue, PLA, ASLA, is an accomplished Landscape Architect with extensive experience in site planning, design, and construction administration across a variety of sectors, including education, public, private, and recreational spaces. Currently serving as the Coastal Section Chair for the American Society of Landscape Architects - North Carolina Chapter at The East Group since September 2017, Sharon specializes in urban planning, green building practices, and Universal Design for diverse populations. Previous roles include significant contributions at Rivers and Associates, Stewart Engineering, and Reynolds & Jewell Landscape Architecture, where Sharon led projects such as the Pullen Memorial Baptist Church expansion and various city planning initiatives. Sharon holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from North Carolina State University and has been involved in comprehensive design efforts, community workshops, and master planning throughout the career.
