Charles J. French is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in growth strategy and business development across various industries. Currently serving as the Chief Growth Officer at Mutare, Inc. since February 2018, Charles focuses on transforming communication solutions for organizations. As a member of The Economic Club of Chicago since June 2020, Charles engages in discussions on economic and social issues within the community. Prior roles include Chief Strategy Officer at Uniphy Health Holdings LLC, where Charles co-founded and led a mobile communication platform for healthcare providers, and President of Wamberg Asset Management, where Charles advised on alternative investment strategies. Additionally, Charles has a background as a consultant at Pavilion Advisory Group. Charles holds an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a B.S. from Northwestern University.

The Economic Club of Chicago (ECC) fosters meaningful connections among Chicago leaders to encourage dialogue on important economic and social issues and to cultivate the next generation of civic leadership. Founded in 1927, the ECC has evolved from its roots as a forum for Chicago’s business community into a premier institution that provides intellectually curious members of the business world a platform to discuss economic, business and social issues. The ECC does not take an activist role. Rather, by providing a forum for discussion and debate, the ECC advances the development of civic-minded executives who understand and embrace their role in building a better society.
