Chris Broughton is the Executive Director at Wentcher Foundation. Prior to this role, Chris was the Engagement Committee Member at The Economic Club of Chicago. Additionally, Chris worked as the Managing Principal at CDB Consulting, where they led investment thesis development and portfolio due diligence. Chris also has experience as a Senior Advisor and Executive Director at Bottom Line, where they successfully scaled programming and raised significant funding. Prior to these roles, Chris participated in the Sterling Partners Investment Thesis Challenge at Booth School of Business. Chris has a strong educational background with an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Master of Education from the University of Notre Dame.

The Economic Club of Chicago (ECC) fosters meaningful connections among Chicago leaders to encourage dialogue on important economic and social issues and to cultivate the next generation of civic leadership. Founded in 1927, the ECC has evolved from its roots as a forum for Chicago’s business community into a premier institution that provides intellectually curious members of the business world a platform to discuss economic, business and social issues. The ECC does not take an activist role.
