Rene Lima is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at New Work SE since September 2022, Rene previously held positions including International Partner for Technology at the World Business Angels Investment Forum, where business screening and cross-border investment strategies were key responsibilities. As Chief of Innovation Officer at AL4MO, Rene focused on product development for startups and technology ventures. Established in 1986 as a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization created to strengthen ties among the diverse and growing business community based in metropolitan Washington, D.C., and with the diplomatic community. The Economic Club of Washington, D.C. promotes global awareness of the pivotal role Washington plays in the national and world economies.
