Prior to this role, Jennifer held the position of President at the Columbus Chamber of Commerce and Tourism from April 2013 to August 2022, where significant efforts were made to merge the Greater Whiteville Chamber of Commerce and the Columbus County Tourism Development Authority to enhance organizational cohesion. Jennifer's extensive experience in the tourism and economic development sectors also includes serving as President/Executive Director at the Columbus County Tourism Development Authority and as Interim Director/Administrative Assistant at Columbus County Economic Development. Academically, Jennifer holds a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Fiscal Management from Norwich University and a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management from the University of Mount Olive.

We work together with the Governor and the Department of Commerce to help businesses launch, grow and locate in our state. Our far-reaching network is made up of government officials, local and regional economic development organizations, service providers, international business, tourism and trade executives, community leaders and educational institutions. We also publish research on key business, trade and industry trends affecting our state, and actively track facilities and sites available for relocation.
