Benedict Craven is a seasoned economist with extensive experience at The Economist Intelligence Unit (The EIU) since October 2015, where roles have included Principal Economist, Country Risk Manager for the Middle East and Africa, Analyst, and Research Analyst. Prior to this, Benedict served as a Research Intern at the United Nations Research Institute for Social Development (UNRISD) from January to July 2015. Academic qualifications include an M.Sc in Applied Economics from the University of Bath (2022-2024), a Graduate Diploma in Economics from Birkbeck, University of London (2018-2020), an M.Sc in Development Studies from SOAS University of London (2013-2014), and a Bachelor of Arts in History from SOAS University of London (2010-2013).
