Nareg Topalian is an experienced commercial leader specializing in strategic partnerships and sales management across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Currently serving as Vice President, Commercial for MEA at The Economist, Nareg has held key positions such as Head of Region for Strategic Partnerships at The Economist and Commercial Head at both MIT Technology Review and Harvard Business Review Arabia. Nareg's career also includes notable roles at Fattal Group, where responsibilities included Unit Manager for Food & Beverages and National Sales Manager, as well as earlier experience at Syriatel Mobile Telecom as Area Sales Manager and Sales Team Leader. Nareg holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Banking & Insurance from Damascus University and completed an Executive Education program in Applied Business Analytics at MIT Sloan School of Management in 2020.
