Oliver Morton

Oliver Morton is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in editorial roles across prestigious publications. Currently serving as a Senior Editor for Briefings and previously as the Energy and Environment Editor at The Economist since November 2009, Morton has contributed significantly to the field of science and technology. Prior experience includes positions as Chief News and Features Editor at Nature Publishing Group from 2005 to 2009 and a freelance writer and editor from 1997 to 2005. Morton was also the Editor of Wired UK from 1995 to 1997 and held the role of Science and Technology Editor at The Economist from 1990 to 1995. Educationally, Morton holds a BA in History and Philosophy of Science from the University of Cambridge, earned between 1984 and 1987.
