Prateek Sinha

Prateek Sinha is a seasoned data and NLP engineer with extensive experience in deploying advanced machine learning solutions across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior NLP Engineer at The Economist since August 2024, Prateek previously held roles as a Principal Data Scientist at Cornerstone OnDemand, where deployment of an in-house LLM platform and implementation of guardrails for Gen AI use cases took place. Prateek has led teams at Sigmoid as a Lead Data Scientist, focusing on demand forecasting projects, and improved BERT-based question answering systems at Cognizer Inc. While at Ernst & Young, innovative NLP solutions were applied to optimize auditing processes. Previous experience includes developing HR analytics products at Cornerstone OnDemand and building analytics solutions for banks at Deloitte India. Prateek holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Ocean Engineering and Naval Architecture from IIT Kharagpur.
