Tim McGovern

Tim McGovern has a diverse work experience in various roles. Tim began their career as a Summer Intern at PwC Ireland in 2014. Tim then joined PwC and held positions as Financial Services Associate, Financial Services Senior Associate, and Financial Services Manager from 2015 to 2021. At Salesforce, they served as Finance & Strategy - Business Partner - EMEA from 2021 to 2022 and subsequently as Sales Strategy & Operations - Business Partner - EMEA from 2022 to 2023. Currently, they are working at The Economist as the Sales Strategy & Operations Lead, starting in November 2023.

Tim McGovern completed a Bachelor of Business and Law degree at University College Dublin from 2011 to 2015. Tim then pursued a Chartered Accountant (ACA) qualification in Accounting & Finance at Chartered Accountants Ireland from 2015 to 2018. From 2018 to 2020, they obtained a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) degree from the Irish Tax Institute. In 2021, they gained a Financial Modelling & Valuation Analyst Certification from the Corporate Finance Institute (CFI). Additionally, they have earned several certifications including Tableau Certified Associate Certification, The Complete Oracle SQL Bootcamp (2020), Oxford Leading Strategic Projects Programme, and Alteryx Designer Core Certified.
