Debra Veth has extensive work experience, starting in 1989 as an Assistant Marketing Manager at the Michigan Bulb Company. Debra then worked as a Business Manager at Lexington Christian Academy from 1993 to 1997. Debra later became the Executive Director of the Imago Dei Fund, a grant-making charitable foundation, from 2009 to 2018. During their time there, they oversaw staff, programs, strategy, finance, and operations. In 2017, they joined Catie's Closet, Inc as a Program Director, where they spearheaded expansion into Boston Public Schools. From 2020 to 2021, they worked as a Consultant at Imago Dei Fund, providing support to IDF grantees and developing a financial model for the foundation. In 2018, they became the Chief Financial and Operating Officer at Lexington Christian Academy, where they were responsible for finance, accounting, human resources, and legal matters. Most recently, they assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer at Food For Free Committee, Inc. and currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at The Edinburg Center.

Debra Veth obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Calvin University, graduating in the year 1989. After completing their undergraduate education, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance and Strategy at the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business, earning their degree in 1993.
