Technical Teaching Fellow For The ETF And Royal Commission For The Exhibition Of 1851 at The Education and Training Foundation

Alison J. Ackroyd is a dedicated education professional with extensive experience in teaching and project management. Currently serving as a Lecturer at MidKent College since September 2011 and a Project Manager at the University of Hertfordshire from January 2024, Alison also holds the role of T Level Ambassador. Involved with the Association for Science Education's 11-19 Committee, Alison contributes to supporting science teachers in secondary education. As a Technical Teaching Fellow for the Education and Training Foundation, Alison collaborates with the Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851. Additional roles include Professional Development Leader for STEM Learning UK and Coach to Enthuse Partnerships in further education. With a solid academic background, including a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Bristol, Alison has held various teaching positions across multiple institutions, enhancing the landscape of science education.
