Daniel Johnson

Daniel Johnson is a seasoned political advisor with extensive experience in electoral integrity and local government support. Since March 2023, Daniel has held the position of Senior Advisor for Electoral Integrity at The Electoral Commission. Prior to this role, Daniel served as a Political Assistant for Middlesbrough Council from April 2017 to March 2023, providing crucial political support to the Middlesbrough Labour Group and the Elected Mayor, Dave Budd. Daniel's background includes governance roles at King Edwin School and Stockton Riverside College, as well as casework experience with Alex Cunningham MP in the House of Commons. Daniel holds a BA (Hons) in History from Teesside University, achieved between 2010 and 2013.
