Sarah Barker

Sarah Barker is a Senior Communications Officer at The Electoral Commission since March 2018 and has also served as a Learning Manager in a maternity cover role. Previous experience includes roles as a Communications Officer and Communications Assistant at Broadland District Council from January 2015 to March 2018, and as a Public Relations Assistant at Plain Speaking Agency in 2014. Sarah's earlier positions include a Marketing Intern at Writers' Centre Norwich and a Student Guide/Ambassador at the University of East Anglia, where guidance was provided to prospective students. Additional experience includes serving as a Summer Camp Counselor and Ropes Course Instructor for The Fresh Air Fund in 2011. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts (hons) in American Studies from the University of East Anglia, with a year abroad at the University of Oregon. A Levels were completed at Hall Cross School in History, Government and Politics, English Language, Theatre Studies, and General Studies.
