Sophia Arruda

Sophia Arruda is an emerging professional currently serving as a Mental Health Program Intern at The Carter Center since January 2024 and a Core Crew member at [solidcore] since May 2024. Sophia also contributes to the Emory Undergraduate Journal of Law and Society as an Editor since March 2024 and held the role of Co-President for She's the First from September 2022 to August 2024, focusing on fundraising to support high school graduation for girls in India, Ethiopia, and Peru. Previously, an Internal Communications Intern at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Sophia enhanced brand strategy through content creation and editing. Additional experience includes working as a Waitress at The Kittansett Club and serving as Research Team Lead with Emory Impact Investing Group. Sophia is pursuing a degree at Emory University, anticipated to graduate in 2025.
