Benjamin Attia

Benjamin Attia is currently working as a Research Lead for Energy, Climate, & Sustainability at BlackRock since June 2022. Prior to this role, Benjamin has held various positions at The Energy for Growth Hub and Payne Institute for Public Policy as a Non-Resident Fellow. Benjamin has also worked at Wood Mackenzie Power & Renewables in various research analyst roles focused on emerging markets and global solar markets. Before that, Benjamin gained experience in commercial operations and solar development at SunEdison. Benjamin's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Energy & Environmental Policy, a Masters of Energy & Environmental Policy, and Benjamin is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Climate Finance at the University of Oxford.
