Fiona Nieman

Fiona Nieman, CMP, DES, currently serves as the Director for Convention and Meeting Planning at The Episcopal Church, overseeing the triennial General Convention and complex meetings. With extensive experience in meeting planning, Fiona has held key positions such as Meeting Planning Manager for the General Council on Finance and Administration of The United Methodist Church, where leadership of a team of planners was critical for international meetings. Previous roles include Director of Member Relations and Communications at the World Alliance for Retail Excellence & Standards, Regional Director for the American Heart Association, and various management positions in hospitality venues. Fiona holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of the Witwatersrand and is a certified meeting professional.
