Patrick R. Perkins currently serves as the Diocesan Disaster Coordinator for The Episcopal Diocese of Western Massachusetts, a position held since January 2022, where responsibility includes liaising with the US Disaster Program of Episcopal Relief and Development. In addition, Patrick has been the Rector at St. Francis Episcopal Church since September 2014 and previously served as Assistant to the Rector at St. John's Episcopal Church in West Hartford, CT from August 2009 to August 2014. Prior corporate experience includes roles at Cabot Microelectronics Corp, where Patrick progressed through positions such as Continuous Improvement Program Manager, Director of Global Quality, and Quality Manager focused on quality initiatives across multiple global sites. Other past roles include Quality Engineer at Duracell, various assignments in a Management Development Program at The Dexter Corp, and serving as a Submarine Officer in the US Navy. Educational qualifications include a MS in Divinity from Virginia Theological Seminary (2006-2009), a MS in Management from Rensselaer at Work (1991-1993), and a BS in Oceanography from the United States Naval Academy (1983-1987).
