Walther Doernte

Walther Doernte is an experienced board member at Outlier Ventures, a leading Web3 accelerator, since October 2016, and currently serves as an advisor at THE EQUITY STUDIO, specializing in brand investments. Doernte has a diverse investment portfolio focusing on AI, crypto, health, defense, and consumer products, with notable investments including Lightmatter and Wave Photonics. As a mentor for Techstars since February 2017, Doernte also co-founded Alena, a company that utilizes computational neuroscience for mental health solutions. Previous roles include strategy and equities at J.P. Morgan, private equity at a single family office, and work in the Financial Institutions Group at McKinsey & Company. Doernte holds an MBA from IESE Business School and a Bachelor's of Science in Management, Finance from Georgia Institute of Technology.
