Spagnolli Alberto

SPAGNOLLI Alberto is a Senior Policy Advisor at the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) since July 2010, with a history of leadership roles including Head of the Executive Office and Head of Department for Communications and External Relations. Prior to EFSA, Spagnolli worked at the European Commission from May 1993 to June 2010, holding positions such as Head of Unit for Economic Advice and Structural Support and State aid and Antitrust investigator. Earlier experience includes serving as a Finance Account Officer at Filippo Fochi Energia Srl from March 1990 to March 1993, focusing on project financing for power plant construction. Spagnolli holds a Master in Business Economics from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, completed in 1986, and a high school diploma from Liceo Scientifico Torricielli in Bolzano, Italy, obtained in 1981.
