Valerio De Molli

Managing Partner & CEO at The European House - Ambrosetti

He has been Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer of The European House - Ambrosetti since 2000. In 2008 he was the protagonist, with other Partners, of the company's management buyout.

He is also Director of Ambrosetti Group Limited in London, President of The European House - Ambrosetti Middle East, Senior Advisor of the Venture Capital fund in Italy, United Ventures and Mentor of Kairos Society, an association of young American entrepreneurs. Since 2011 he has also been a member of YPO (Young Presidents' Organization).

He is a member of the Boards of Directors of numerous companies.

He teaches on topics of strategy and governance systems for companies, associations and universities.

He is the author of the book "Towards excellence. The Boards of Directors: a tool for an effective corporate governance system. Proposals and indications ", published by Sperling & Kupfer in May 2005 and of the book" The Fundamental References of Strategic Management - The paradigms of the Business System ", published by IPSOA in January 2009.

He founded and continues to chair important think tanks, including: "Observatory on Europe" in Brussels, "Observatory on the excellence of governance systems in Italy", "Meridiano Sanità", "Cashless Society", just to name a few.

He was head of the International Division from 1995 to 2000. In this role he oversaw the activities of The European House - Ambrosetti in Europe, China, Japan and the United States.

Since 1992 he has been operational manager of the creation of the The European House - Ambrosetti forum "The scenario of today and tomorrow for competitive strategies", which is held every year in September at Villa d’Este in Cernobbio.

He was responsible for the 2004 edition of the Bilderberg meeting in Italy.

Previously he worked as a financial analyst in the Corporate Finance of Paribas in Amsterdam, at one of the main stockbrokers in Milan, Belloni & Tedeschi and at the research office of Banca Popolare di Luino and Varese.

He graduated in Economics and Commerce from Luigi Bocconi University.

He is married and has three children.
